Apple could be set to deal a massive blow to arch-rival Spotify, experts have claimed. Music industry analysts believe Apple Music is set to overtake Spotify in the US and build a larger subscriber base.
If Apple can knock its enemy off the top spot in America, world domination could be inevitable. Spotify is currently the largest music streaming service globally, with Apple Music coming in second.
Apple Music’s US subscribers grow by about five percent monthly, while Spotify’s American subscribers grow by about two percent monthly, a Wall Street Journal report said, citing people familiar with the numbers.
