The Moon will turn blood red this week as Mars shine ‘eerily’ in the night sky.

The moon is about to turn ‘blood red’ and a planet named after the God of War is set to shine much brighter than usual.

So you’d be forgiven for feeling a little nervous.


But although this sort of spectacle would have horrified our ancestors, it’s just the result of a lunar eclipse coinciding with Mars reaching ‘opposition’ with Earth.
