Only half of UK firms feel confident in their in-house cybersecurity.


Continued investment and activity are the key to staying ahead in the cyber arms race.

New research has revealed that only 56 per cent of UK firms believe they have sufficient cyber security skills in-house to deal with today's growing threats.

In its 10th annual Data Health Check surveyDatabarracks questioned over 400 IT decision makers in the UK to better understand their views on a series of critical issues relating to their IT security and business continuity practices.

Back in 2016, 59 per cent of respondents said that they had invested in safeguards to help fight against cyber threats within the last 12 months. Now in 2018, this figure has risen to 67 per cent.
