In an interview with MAP on the occasion of the signing Thursday in San Francisco of this agreement with Oracle CEO, Safra Catz, the Moroccan official recalled that the strategic expansion in Morocco of the U.S company, which is among the ten largest tech groups in the world, will lead to the creation of Oracle’s first research and development center in Africa and the eighth of its kind worldwide.
The center, which currently operates with a reduced team in Casablanca, will be growing, thanks to this agreement, its local workforce to 1,000 information technology professionals who will be at the forefront of the design and development of innovative solutions in the areas of artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing and cybersecurity.
