Minister addresses concerns: Egyptian services amidst global tech disruptions

Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, assures that vital sectors in Egypt were not affected by the global technical glitch.

In a statement to Extra News TV on Friday, Talaat explained that vital sectors such as communications, internet, bank transfers, airports and seaports were not affected by the global technical outage. He confirmed that there have been no reports from any users about any service disruptions.

“I have contacted the officials in all these sectors and made sure that they have not been affected so far. I have also contacted the Minister of Civil Aviation and confirmed that air traffic is regular,” Talaat added.
