Reading Borough Council has changed its planning website which is used to keep a tab on what plans have been submitted throughout the town.

The council previously used the Fastweb service so members of the public could find, comment and check the status of applications.

From now on, plans can be found on the council's website using the public register internet service. The changeover occurred on Tuesday, July 23.

The change means the coding for plans has changed, with an example being PL/24/0000. The website allows you to search for applications, appeals, building control, tree preservation orders (TPOs) and planning enforcement actions.
