US watchdog calls for judge hold Musk in contempt of court.
SNOOP DOGG OF TECH Elon Musk has sent yet another tweet that's landed him in hot water with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The US securities watchdog requested a federal judge hold Musk in contempt of court for a short series of tweets he posted last week, which claimed that "Tesla made 0 cars in 2011, but will make around 500k in 2019."
In a promptly-posted follow-up tweet, Musk backtracked and said the company will actually deliver just 400,000 cars this year.
