We all know that a healthy diet can make a huge difference to your health and how you feel.
But one vegetable can have a particularly big impact on your mood, according to a Cambridge University researcher. Dr Nadia Mohd-Radzman. She has spent years studying the humble legume, and now wants Britain to fall in love with it too.
She's talking about the broad bean - a simple, home-grown crop that her research shows can help boost your mood.
Thast's because the broad bean contains a high level of levodopa, or L-dopa, which Dr Mohd-Radzman describes as a 'precursor' to dopamine, one of the chemicals that makes us happy.
